How many people can be in a team?
We require teams of maximum three members to ensure flexibility and efficiency for all teams. However, it is up to participants whether they want to be in smaller teams than this.

Not at all! The CAD Challenge is designed to be entirely virtual, meaning you can work with anyone within the eligibility requirements. If you are local to UC Berkeley, we would reccomend attending workshops and ceremonies in person for more impactful q&a.

All students are welcome! We especially love to see high school and college students participate.

In short, none at all! The CAD Challenge is meant to target a wide range of CAD experience from first-time users to experienced CAD fanatics. We are running both a beginner and an advanced track to balance experience level with the competitive aspect. In addition, a wide range of workshops will be provided (see Timeline) for aiding your design and supplemental materials.

We will be providing a forum to find members for a team if you do not have one already. We recommend having a team in advance to starting your project.
