Please respect external sources! Do not plagiarize, or claim models designed outside the team as your own.
The Challenge is designed to imitate real-world open-ended design processes. We expect you to adhere to these rules, and work only with your team. All designs must be generated during the event for fairness between teams.

AI Usage Policy
AI Usage Policy
Usage of AI tools are allowed for the CAD Challenge, but they must be cited in your work, and there must be copies of any AI prompts that you use in your work. This includes every part of the workflow, including research, design ideation, and documentation.
We acknowledge the usage and exploration of AI as a tool to help you create the best design you can, but any usage must be disclosed. We do not endorse claiming work done by AI to be original, human-made work. If we find evidence of AI usage in any project that has no citations or prompt disclosures, we will contract that project team. Projects need to cite any AI use or lack of use explicitly.
